Memory Alpha articles are never truly finished. Even featured articles, examples of Memory Alpha's best work, will over time have to undergo revisions to keep them up to date. Therefore, it's important to review the featured articles from time to time to ensure that these revisions have not only happened, but have maintained the quality expected of a featured article.
If you would like to help by starting a review, a good place to start is featured articles more than five years old, which are listed here. Please make sure you are familiar with the review policy before proceeding, though. For past reviews, please see the archive.
Reviews can be started by beginning a new discussion on this page. If you think that a featured articles' status should be upheld, add it to the "Uphold" section. If you think that the article should be removed from the feature article list, it should be added to the "Remove" section. Either way, be sure to state the reason(s) why you think the article should be reviewed. Reviews should display, and have a link to, the blurb used on the portals, by adding {{Blurb|ARTICLE}} before the discussion.
Sample format:
=== ARTICLE === {{Blurb|ARTICLE}} <reasoning> - <signature>
Once this is done, a notice that the article's status is being reviewed should be added to the article in question by inserting {{far}} at the top of the page, above any other templates except the article type template.
When you are commenting on a review, please take the time to read the entire article before you decide whether to Support or Oppose the motion. When supporting or opposing an article, please use a bullet point (by adding a * before your comment) without any indent so these will be easy to find later. General comments should be indented as usual, and, as always, please sign your nominations and comments with "~~~~".

Damar

Damar in 2375
Damar was a Cardassian government and military leader who served under Gul Dukat and succeeded him as the leader of the Cardassian Union, under the Dominion. Fed up with being the Dominion's puppet and sacrificing the lives of millions of Cardassians for their cause, Damar eventually rose up and led the Cardassian Liberation Front against the Dominion.
When he led the rebellion, he was joined by Kira Nerys, Odo, and Elim Garak. Despite his and many of his troops' misgivings about working with a former member of the Bajoran Resistance, Damar recognized the value of Kira's knowledge of organizing resistance cells and followed her advice the best he could.
In the last days of the war, Damar was killed while leading an assault on Dominion Headquarters. Damar's last orders were to keep fighting; he died a martyr for the cause of Cardassian liberation, and both Elim Garak and Kira Nerys honored his final order by storming the Dominion headquarters, killing Weyoun and apprehending the Female Changeling.This article seems to cover everything about the character. It is well-written, the headings make sense and there is some properly cited background information. It has changed quite a bit since it was originally featured in November 2004 but I feel that it is deserving of retaining FA status in its present form. --| TrekFan Open a channel 17:19, April 11, 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose. This article could be vastly improved on with more bginfo. For example, it says nothing about his engagement to Ziyal, which was originally conceived to be portrayed in DS9: "Ties of Blood and Water". There are lots of other sources of bginfo that have also been ignored but likewise could be used. --Defiant (talk) 10:00, April 13, 2018 (UTC)

Beverly Crusher

Beverly Crusher in 2379
Commander Beverly Cheryl Crusher, MD, (née Howard) was the chief medical officer aboard the USS Enterprise-D and its successor, the USS Enterprise-E, both under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. She briefly left her post as CMO of the Enterprise-D in 2365 to become head of Starfleet Medical, only to return the next year.
Beverly attended Starfleet Academy from 2342 to 2350. During this time, she became romantically involved with Jack Crusher after being introduced by their mutual friend, Walker Keel. It took months for her to realize their attraction. The two were married after Jack proposed to her through a gag gift, a book entitled How to Advance Your Career Through Marriage, and welcomed a son, Wesley Crusher, in 2348.
While was Jack serving aboard the USS Stargazer under Jean-Luc Picard, the couple became good friends with the captain. Beverly graduated in 2350, and interned with Dr. Dalen Quaice on Delos IV in 2352. In 2354, Jack died on an away mission, and Picard brought Jack's body home to the grieving Beverly and Wesley. Picard even accompanied her to see Jack's body in the morgue at Starbase 32, a gesture Beverly appreciated despite Picard's feelings that it would be better for her to remember him alive rather than as a corpse. Beverly never fully recovered from Jack's death.
Dr. Crusher took the bridge officer's test in 2362, and was promoted to commander. She was appointed chief medical officer of the Starship Enterprise-D in 2364, and joined the ship at Farpoint Station with Wesley, reporting aboard on stardate 41154. Picard initially had reservations about her presence, but she assured him that the past would have no effect on her duties and she had no problem serving under his command.The first thing that struck me with this article was the lack of sources for much of the background information section which definitely needs addressing for this to remain an FA. Aside from this, the main body of the article is rife with speculative background notes ("It is entirely possible...", "It is possible that at some point", "Beverly may have served...") and inline background notes that also lack citations (for example, the note about the wedding invitation being created but not filmed). Furthermore, the "miscellaneous information" section seems "tagged on" to the end and information from here could easily be incorporated elsewhere in the article where it would make more sense (for example information about Crusher's quarters could go in her service history). Finally, and I appreciate this is probably the least important, the quotes section could be expanded somewhat as I'm certain this character has some great lines that are missing from the article. All in all, at this moment in time, the article should be removed pending a thorough overhaul. --| TrekFan Open a channel 17:12, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
