Wireframe Fix for Hawk 1.1 from kel333
Hello again. Thank you all for the overwhelming response to my update. I appreciate all of you very much. It is my sad duty to inform you I have failed the Empire. My actions have crippled a vital link to the defences of Romulus and Remus. kel333 noticed my error and repaired it swiftly before too much damage was done.
Hunh? What?
Short version - I uploaded the 8bit greyscale as the wireframe, not the 32bit one the game requires. Using the wireframe in the Hawk1.1 Mod will cause the game to crash!
Worse, my son borrowed the flash drive I keep my A2 work on and overwrote it with jpegs from The Babe Forum. I know, excuses are lame.
kel333 has sent me a corrected wireframe which will work and I am passing it on before too much damage is done. He has also amended the installation instructions so the wireframe has the correct references in the gui_global file. Thank you, kel333. You have saved me from having to hide out with the Donuts.
Included are the amended installation instructions with the correct wireframe code.
A corrected wireframe, romwireframe07.tga, which goes into the RGB Folder. When prompted to replace, click on "Yes".
An exerpt from the gui_global Sprites file with ONLY the correct wireframe code. DO NOT copy this into the Sprites folder.

Release Info:
This mod is only to be hosted at www.armada2files.com.
This is because the people here are Uber Cool, fun to hang out with, and are helping me with my little Star Trek: Armada 2 addiction. (1.4GB and growing daily).
If you want to use Sherman2's original mod, you will have to get permission from him.
As to the stuff in this update, permission must be obtained from me via email before you can use it in anything else destined for public release. I will be a lot more inclined to say, "Yes" if credit is given to Sherman2, ChileTrek, and kel333. Without them, there would be no Hawk 1.1. I do not care if you credit me personally or not, but they put a lot of time and effort into helping me out. I insist they are acknowledged. I will also be a lot more inclined to say, "Yes" if your work will be available as a download here at A2 Files.

It's nice to see new files, and this new wireframe looks like the stock ones, with proper glows and system damages. Very nice indeed!
He really did an excellent job a deserves the credit for successfully creating his first? one.
