Simply modded Transwarp gate for the feds - however it still resembles the borg one - and goes over the temporal station.
Not as good as terradyne's one - however if you want one that looks like the borg's does - this is the one for you.

This is my first attempt at modding, so be kind!

I've taken the Borg Transwarp Gate and made it buildable for the Federation. It replaces the Manhiem station completely, but if you're like me, you find that thing useless.

It's crew and officer requirement are lower than the Borg requirements, and the build time is quicker. But the recharge rate on the portal is longer (Hey, I had to handicap it somewhere)


Installion instructions:

Copy the fsuperbl.odf into the folder: odf\stations\
Copy the dynamic_localized_strings.h into the root armada folder which should be by default C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\

And you can either copy the global_gui straight into the sprites folder, or you can change the following line under tha section "#federation build buttons"

from

b_fspecial gbfspecial 0 0 64 64

to

b_fspecial gbbspecial 0 0 64 64


I'm going to be working on a federation texture for the gate, and will be releasing it soon. Until then, Enjoy :)

This little mod isn't bad, especially if it's the first one they've submitted. However, I agree that Terradyhne's is more original.

to make it more fed, you could just retexture it to fed textures and then color the effect blue and call it the wormhole generator
