Wrath of Achilles, 2004-10-10

Well, It seems that Achilles is intent on changing every Cardassian ship and station in the game. If that's true, everything should be on track with this mining station and miner. It is reminicent of DS9, and the freighter is intresting and origional. A nice addition is that the freighter can mine dilithium, latinum, and metal at a rate of 125%.

Here is a more Cardassian looking mining station and freighter in my opinion.
I have changed the freighter to be able to mine Dilithium, Latinum and Metal
and return it to the mining station rather than the starbase. It mines Metal
and Dilithium about 25% faster. This isn't balanced I know but I like the
simplicity of the arrangement.


Installation**

Move all folders (Textures, odf, SOD) to your Star trek armada 2 directory

.... Thats it, mods done :)



Additional Information**

The sods and textures will work in armada 1, file order will have to be changed
for the odfs and they will need editing quite a lot, Email me for help on this
if needed.

Feel free to use this in any mod so long as credit is given to me for the models
and textures.

i think these ships and stations would be excellent solution to the lack of new cardassian stuff in armada 2.5. I hope there is more to come

all stations are to be replaced, aswell as every ship class ;-) then I'm onto Dominion, as for using them in your mod there is no problem, I look forward to seeing them ingame ;-)

i planned to put the dominion in armada 2.5 but they got shoved out of the way when i started modding again. i may add them back in later if it becomes less inconvenient or if i just find the time

the freighters good looking but its not 'Authentic"

you dont have to add "just my opinion" ;-) I'm not easily insulted and you were nothing but honest anyway. Thanks for the input, I think about half my stuff looks authentic the rest is blatent aesthetic pleasure for me ;-)

excellent station i like it. it's follows Cardassian design very well. I use it now along with the Enhanced turrets.
