Another Stargate ship here, and although we already have models of this on the site, you can never have too many Asgard ships Wink

The Daniel Jackson Class (there was another ship looking like this called the Beliskner) was seen in Stargate SG-1 & used by our good friend, Thor. Anyway, one to download if your a fan of the Asgard Smile - There is an additional readme by wraith shadow in the actual download. The one providing here is by Greathor.

My game kicks me out of the game when the ship has been built.Can some one help me?

I also have the problem of being kicked out every time the ship is built. Can't seem to fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I think the best thing to do would be post in the Forums, (http://forums.filefront.com/forumdisplay.php?&forumid=136) nobody is going to see this here. I only found it because I am an a staff member and I can read through the recently posted comments.

The ship is refrencing a weapon that doesn't exist - the "jacksonpulse" - to stop the game from crashing, you can either create this weapon (for those skilled on .odf files) or replace with a different weapon. I have the O'Neill class by Greathor too so I'm copying his "oneillpulse" weapon odf and ramping up the dmg values - but for a quick fix:

in jackson.odf replace


// Phaser

weapon1 = "jacksonpulse"

weaponHardpoints1 = "hp04" "hp06"


// Photon torpedo

weapon2 = "jacksonpulse"

weaponHardpoints2 = "hp05" "hp07"


// Phaser

this will put the defiant's pulse phasers on the Jackson - obviously the real odf's from Greator would be better.


P.S. In the readme there is this section:

Step 5 -

Add the following lines to "sprites/gui_global.spr" below,

@tmaterial=interface "


b_adsf gbjackson 0 0 64 64


there is an error there - "b_adsf" should be "b_jackson" - this is for the ship build button.
