Y Species 8472 Father for Star Trek Armada 2.

Hello. Its Billy9 here with an Armada 2 mod! I hope you like this one better than my last ones. Alright. I thought that Species 8472 was underpowered and stood no chance against the overmodded races. So, I made this. It is an enhanced verion of the Mother with heavier weaponry and the ability to build combat ships.

The files:

1 Bitmap
1 Odf
1 Sod
3 Texture files
The Readme

Put the bitmap into the bitmaps/admirals log/ships folder
Put the odf into the odfs/ships folder
Put the sod into the sod folder
Put the 3 texture files into the textures/rgb folder

Next, go into the techtrees folder and into the file fulltech

Add this: 8472_father.odf 0
Under the Species 8472 Ships section

Next go into tech1 and put this:
8472_father.odf 0
Under the Species 8472 Ships section.

Now, go into the Sprites folder and into gui_global

Add this line:
b_8472_father gb8472_mother 0 0 64 64
Under Species 8472 BuildButtons

Next, put the following lines:
8472_fatherw1 8472wireframe03 0 96 48 48
8472_fatherw3 8472wireframe03 96 96 48 48
8472_fatherw4 8472wireframe03 144 96 48 48
8472_fatherw5 8472wireframe03 192 96 48 48
Under Species 8472 Wireframes.

Finally, go into the 8472_passive file under odf/ships and but this line:
buildItem6 = "8472_father"
In the Build Items section.
