Well, I thought this was going to be a good re-texture and a model touch-up of high quality as I've come to expect from Aad Moerman, but that's where the expectations ended because quite honestly, this looks fantastic! Look at the pictures for a mo, just look at them. The basic version is not what I'd call the Venator, but a new class, but that's by the by. It looks very nice and sports all that is needed for the Romulan battleship. In terms of balance, it fits completely in, replacing the old Venator class from stock and will have no adverse effect on gaming. It's the Vulture you have to watch out for.

Being a variant, you expect it to have a bit of a difference and it certainly does. The Romulan-tweaked Poleron cannon (from the Vor'Cha in stock) has been given to the Vulture (as visible by the red hangar on the lower side of the ship) which acts the same but also does a lot of damage to the enemy, making it very useful when out-matched by a larger foe, or for taking down larger installations in fewer hits. Of course, the subtle differences in cost mean that it's still kept balanced.

Contained within though are build-buttons, wireframes and admiral pics for both along with further instructions for installation. Heck, it also comes with Borg textures! Altogether, this is a very good pair of warbirds, definitely for the collection.

As with the Kbattle2, I thought, when I saw it the very first time, the Rbattle2 also a ship in need of better looks, so here is my Romulan Venator battleship. As witht the Klingon ships I liked to give this class something extra: the Vulture Class, armed with a heavy Poleron Torpedo. This file contains 2 models, the rbattle2 and Vulture class.

All meshes, textures etc. are by me.
The Poleron Torpedo is an adaptation from the stock Klingon weapon.

I'm gunna use this more as a replacement for the griffin as the Norexan replaces the Venator well. Now there are two things I can really say about this. The model is excellant but perhaps it could have been achieved with a few less polys, but it isn'[t a serious matter, the poly count is still acceptable in my view, less than a lot of the models I use anyways. As for the textures they are good, but something bugs me about them, I dunno what, but all in all, excellant work, definitely going in my project as it is a good quality non-cannon romulan ship design, and to be frank, we don't get those very often.
