Now this is clever. It's the class of mining freighter best known as the Red Dwarf. Operation parameters are listed as being "so easy even a descendant of the ship's cat can operate it". No weapons, intended as a replacement for your stock Fed freighter, but definitely worth a download for all your Red Dwarf fans.

This is awesome- you know what would be truly special would be if u had Red Dwarf as the mining ship and replace the mining beam with mini starbugs (Same sor of thing that was used on the B5 Total conversion mod. Maybe someone could do a Red Dwarf race mod with all the major ships Red Dwarf, Starbig, Blue Midgets, Gelf Battlecruiser etc etc etc

If someone does make Red Dwarf, they should set it as a "moveable" Mining station (a bit like Species... "somthing-or-other" mothership in A2)

But I don't know if thats possible...
