This is a Klingon starship that uses the sod from the Klingon shockwave shipyard, and makes it a cruiser without crew. A nice addition to any fleet, it is perfect for the Klingon fan.


Exoder Class Cruiser Mod 1.0

A simple ship mod for any race, though it is a klingon station. Basically it turns the shockwave station into a cruiser with a cloak, and can be modified for whatever you want.
Since I hate losing crew, it has none. It cannot be cauptured by the enemy, or be left dead in the water with no crew.

Go to techtrees, then tech1.tt, and under the ship list of the race of your choice add this line:

exoder.odf 0

place this in the buildbutton section of the race of your coice in the gui_global folder in the sprites section:

b_exoder gbksuperbl 0 0 64 64

Place the following in the wireframes section of the race of your coice in the gui_global folder in the sprites section:

exoderw1 klingwireframe06 0 0 48 48 exoderw2 klingwireframe06 48 0 48 48 exoderw3 klingwireframe06 96 0 48 48 exoderw4 klingwireframe06 144 0 48 48 exoderw5 klingwireframe06 192 0 48 48

go to the shipyard file of your race such as byard or fyard or kyard and enter the following line:

buildItemXX = "exoder"

XX is to be replaced by the number on the build list on the shipyard you want.

Well, it's a good attempt for a mod to install, but honestly not really IMPRESS by it. Yeah, a ship made from a sticked shipyard station, but Eh....just doesn't 'excite' me at all. :sad:

Maybe not STGamer, but perhaps there could be something to this. Remember I've got a few klink ships which havent' been seen but might be worth releasing in this fashion, so if Blindeye wants to release them as single ship mods then he can always contact me directly (ICQ (60839084) or MSN () is more useful). Besides which I remember we all had to start somewhere and this is interesting in so much as the actual structure model doesn't carry engine hardpoints (as such).

Well, I did said it was a 'nice attempt' for a install mod'. Just for me, it's a 'flying station/movable base' I see it and maybe at this time I see no use of it for me - that's all. Call it 'constructive criticism' - keep up the work, Blindeye01. :P

I like the idea and the fact that it's not run of the mill. How often do you see stuff like this?


What I don't like is that Blindeye01 didn't include screenies, and most of the community won't download anything without them, so it made it harder to finish posting.
