Bekta Class War Cruiser
The Bekta is supposed to replace the Vor'cha attack cruiser in supplementing Negh'Var's in the assault role.
With weapons only marginally less powerful than the Negh'var and stronger shields (half the shielding power of a starbase) there is the case to be made that this is an outright replacement for the Negh'Var, rather than the Vorcha. I do think that as a replacement for the Vor'cha it's a little powerful.
Still, it's a good looking ship and while it is a powerful ships, it's also balanced by cost. Versus the stock ships, it's the most expensive Klingon ship at 600 Dilithium and 650 Metal. My recollection from my gaming days is that the Vorc'ha cost 180 Dilithium and 50 Metal and the Negh'var itself only cost around 400D and 100M. That being the case, it's possibly a little to expensive, even if it can stand up to a Negh'var.

Authors Notes:

* The poly count for these models stands at 1742.
* There are four 512x512 texture sets per model.
* Users of this file / ship will have to add it into the game themselves.
* There are no wireframes with this model, as I am thus far unsure how to create them properly.
* Build Buttons and An Admirals Log Image have been included, though game essentials (tech tree and such) have not been configured. Users unsure should consult the forums.
* Ask if you'd like to use this in a project. I'd rather people not assume they can do as they please.

Still, its a lovely ship and worth a download.
You must have thrown out more great ships from zero hour than are still left in the project, lol.
To the rest of you, I've got a few more ships to release yet, though they'll take time. I'm enjoying the sun too much at the moment.
