This ship is the Freedom class from the battle of Wolf 359. It ha some minor flaws with the wireframes and the damage textures, but it works. It should actually be slower, because it has only one nacelle.

Installation:
-------------

Copy the file ffree1.sod into the SOD folder
Copy the .tga files into the Textures > RGB folder
Copy the file ffree1.odf into the ODF > ships folder
Copy the file ffree1.bmp into the Bitmaps > Admiralslog folder

Open the file fyard2.odf or fyard.odf (whichever shipyard you want the ship
To be built from) and insert the line: buildItemXX = "ffree1" under
build Parameters below the last ship to be build
XX being the next unused number

Save that file

Open "tech 1" from the Techtree folder and insert this line:

ffree1.odf 1 fyard2.odf // Freedom class

Save this file, open "fulltech.tt" and insert the following line

ffree1.odf 0

Then save and open "GUI_global.spr" from the sprites folder

Then add this line under federation build buttons:

b_ffree1 gbffree1 0 0 64 64

There is a wire frame, it is not perfect, but at least there is one
just add this line into the gui global under wireframes

@reference=128
@tmaterial=interface

ffree1w1 fwfree1 40 0 40 40
ffree1w2 fwfree1 0 40 40 40
ffree1w3 fwfree1 40 40 40 40
ffree1w4 fwfree1 80 0 40 40
ffree1w5 fwfree1 0 0 40 40

Credits:
The Saucer is from P81's Enterprise C, the neck is from the SFC II Constitution and
the nacelle is from the stock Galaxy. Everything else done by Pizza the Hutt

Thank you for downloading this ship.

Have fun!!!

Different... But doesn't look quite right!

I think it does look alright. The only difference is the Ambassador saucer instead of a smaller Galaxy/Nebula (which ever one you want) but this does nicely.

Looks ok to me, not cannon but so what. Lovely variation of the word destroyer :D

Decent model. Good poly count. Nicely textured. A different but welcomed version.

this is good idea with the Ambassador saucer, i wonder how it would look with an ambassador nacelle, textures are good the model itself is good but the saucer should have been made from an 20 sided cylinder instead of an 18 sided one

Match it up with the steamrummer ,the federation needs to guard its moon shine installations!!!

Pizza the Hut - In an update of this, instead of using stock galaxy parts, you should download either the SNS Galaxy for BC/A2, or one of the many Galaxy models for A2 that are available, and use them to make this ship. There's also a decent Constitution. Or, you could try making these from scratch, and make your own textures too.

Otherwise, good job. Looks exactly as it should.
