This is the USS Enterprise F and a re-release of the Titan class form Armada 2.5. They both come complete with their own buildbuttons, wireframes, ODFs, sods, speical weapons, sounds and Admiral's Log pics. Worth a download for those of you that wanted Armada 2.5 or a new futuristic fed ship.

THIS VERSION INCLUDES MOVEMENT PHYSICS FILES

*These are the two sister ships USS Titan and USS Enterprise-F.
The two ships have small differences that make them excellent when paired together.
The weapons will take time to get used to, but they are more fun to use when all ships use similar weapons.
These weapon types will be used in Armada 2.5.*

Instructions:
Just put all the files in the correct folders. DO NOT copy folders directly to the armada2 folder.

Original Textures: Wicked Zombie. Textures came from a different
Titan model intended for SFC3.

This model was not a conversion, but a made from scratch model done specically for Armada 2,
but based on the design done by Patrick Weber. The original can be seen on the USSMiranda.com
website.

Model mesh and model re-texturing done by Operative34997.

Weapons re-worked for STA2.5 by draconis_sharp.

This pre-release sample assumes that you have NOT deleted certain special_weapon files (gcover.odf and gfedrep.odf).

If any problems arise with the use of these files please email me at: draconis_sharp@yahoo.com
I need to know what they may be so that I can solve them.

well... the completion date is a hard thing to guess. The most I can tell you about that would be that it will be released when it looks and plays exactly the way I want it to. I'd say a half a year, but it might be a little more or less. It's hard to say.

As for ships, you can expect some ships that you may or may not have seen before. The Concorde Class Command Carrier will make it's appearence in the federation side and some of achilles' cardassian ships will be there too. I also plan to use some of Operative34997's klingon stations. I think he does good work with them. I'm also looking into getting the Shania Class for the feds. There won't be too many new ships for the Borg and no new ships for Species8472 (the mod completely ignores Species8472 anyhow). The klingons will get some ships that have been around for a while and so will the romulans. Every race has their own dreadnaughts which can pummel most other ships to dust. 1-on-1 combat will play some role, but 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 will be more common than that. Multiplayer will be much better. There will be all sorts of sneaky things you can do. Those make the strategy of the game more fun. Heavy research costs will limit the number of big ships you see until much later in a game. A good number of ships that appeared in Ghost's mod will be there simply because they are all quite nice and much better than stock. That's all I can think of right now. If you want to know a bit more, you can go to the mod's website: www.geocities.com/startrekarmada2point5

The site isn't much right now, but once it get's going, it will be the best source for info on the mod. We do have a few screenshots up, but they don't show much except the enterprise fighting some borg spheres.

im not too happy with the design itself , but overall i like. the textures are ok. the whole thing looks soverign-ish. is the*****ian class seen anywhere in the series or movies cuz i definatly dont remember it. i do remember tho atr the end of nemisis it being mentioned that riker is commanding the new*****ian class.

No, it has never been seen on screen. There are a few models of what people think it looks like, this one from ussmiranda.com.

If you have problems with the game dying on you when you try to use this ship, simply change the weapon sprite used with the photon torpedos in the .odf file to the same sprite used with stock torpedos. Quantum torpedos should still work properly without change. If you install this ship on top of ghost's compilation mod, you should not have this problem.

It would also seem that I released the textures for each of these ships without actually editing the textures, sorry about that.

Feel free to tell me if there are any more problems.
