This is the oberth class with an installer. It has all the files for a full mod including techtrees, wireframes, buildbuttons, admiral's log pics, and odf's, all in an easy to use installer.

Clean A2 Installation
--------------
For installation into a clean copy of Armada 2 simply run the .exe file and it will install itself quite happily.

Modded A2 Installation
--------------
To install into a modded version of Armada 2 you will need to do the following -

1) Run the .exe but change the path to a temporary folder

2) From the temporary folder move the files to the following locations -
foberth.bmp ----------> C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\bitmaps\AdmiralsLog\ShipImages
foberth.odf ----------> C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\odf\ships
foberth.sod ----------> C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\SOD
gbfoberth.tga ----------> C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Textures\RGB
Oberth.tga ----------> C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Textures\RGB
oberthWF.tga ----------> C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Textures\RGB

3) Open "tech1.tt" and insert the following line under Federation Ships
foberth.odf 1 fyard.odf // scout (oberth class)

4) Open "fulltech.tt" and insert the following line
foberth.odf 0

5) Open "gui_global.spr" and insert the following line under the "b_fscout" entry
b_foberth gbfoberth 0 0 64 64

6) Also in the "gui_global.spr" file, scroll down to the bottom of the Federation wireframes and inset the line
foberthw1 oberthWF 0 0 128 128

7) Open "fyard.odf" and insert the line
buildItem# = "foberth"

(# = what position you want the button to appear in the yard)
(Be sure to change all the other build numbers if you put it into position 2 for example)

That should be it, you're ready to go!! :)

Notes
-------------
I did not create this model!! The model and texture are the work of Deemon and I merely extracted them from the Millennium Project 1.9se to make the ship available to the community in general. All credit for the model goes to Deemon, I did try to contact him prior to release but was unable to.

Permissions
-------------
If you wish to use this release in your mod that is fine with me, however please be sure to credit Deemon as the model creator!!

Oh, this is significantly nicer-to-look-at than the other (and previously the only) Oberth-class. Far more accurate so far as I can tell.
