Voyager Stock Model Voyager Stock Model

Jabsticles claims this mod "is something for people who don't want to muck up their game much and just like the original textures". Are there any among us left who still appreciate the original textures? Given that they've all been replaced by mods like the Upgrade Project's Vanilla Ultimate Armada II, I'd have to venture a guess and say, no.

It's honestly not that hard to ask for permission or to give credit where it's due, and that moreso than any other aspect of this mod (which is a stock Intrepid which the .ODFs make a slightly stronger hero-ship equivalent) is a shame. Most of the people I know in this community are surprisingly cool, and I count a number of them as my friends. Asking them for permission --especially since most of these new mods from Jabsticles are really just .ODF mods after all-- shouldn't be that much of a challenging.

Jabsticles tells us to "expect big stuff!" in the future. That's something to look forward to, and hopefully this beginning modder can learn from the community --in the forums, for example!-- so that we see more new content down the road.

Cool

So, like I said, to avoid any more bad stuff, this texture is from the stock models given to us by Activision. Once I get modelling software, expect big stuff!

Everything Included as these are stock models. The only requirement is that you have these models, though the odf and sod might be able to adapt to other intrepid class models.

Place odf into odf/ships
Place sod into sod

Open tech1.tt and fulltech.tt and place:
fvoyager.odf 0

In both. Now open gui_global in sprites and underneath fcruise3 buildbuttons & wireframes put:

Build:
b_fvoyager gbfvoyager 0 0 64 64

Wire:
fvoyagerw1 fedwireframe01 0 192 48 48
fvoyagerw2 fedwireframe01 48 192 48 48
fvoyagerw3 fedwireframe01 96 192 48 48
fvoyagerw4 fedwireframe01 144 192 48 48
fvoyagerw5 fedwireframe01 192 192 48 48

Now you simply have to add it to a starbase/shipyard and you're done.

All credit to activision for this.

Also, if you want voyager's cloak, you simply put it with the odf special weapons and add it under fed special weaps: voycloak.odf 0
