This is a decent Excelsior model and texture, but it looks a little low-res...


ead Me For Excelsior Refit Mod

this mod contains a model, textures, and an ODF file to add the Excelsior Refit to your game.
You have to add the lines to your sprites, shipyard, and techtrees yourself, but thats not hard.

In your fulltech.tt add this line:

Fexcelrefit.odf 0


In tech1.tt:

Fexcelrefit.odf 1 fyard.odf

Open up gui_global.spr, find this:

# Federation build buttons
@reference=128
@tmaterial=default


at the bottom add:

b_Fexcelrefit gbfexcelrefit 0 0 64 64

Finally, open up your fyard.odf file and add

buildItemXX = "fexcelrefit"

XX=the number slot for this ship on your ship menu.

Well, so far as A2files is concerned, it's either this one or an Excelsior with Sovereign warp nacelles, so it looks like we don't have much of a choice. It's nice enough, of course, it's just that green spoils it a little...

I'm sorry, I assumed that the way the above people went on it was a pemanent part of the ship; the green's just your team colour. It's red or blue or white or whatever if you change your team colour. Duh. In that case, it's pretty good. I had to create a whole new .odf file for it (and a couple of new weapons) to meet with my own tastes, but the model itself is pretty good.

openig*****le say it all. Not all of us are that smart on uploading files and or whatnot, unlike our good friend Capt. Finger. So what, he spent his time making enterprise B, at else put forth the effort for an ReadME file for the novices. With that siad, the Exc. Refit, looks good to me :borg:

nice model. but it doesnt fire its torpedos and i had to upgrade its phasers because they were very weak.

That means your SOD file isn't where it should be, look closely at the white "card-board box", it says, "SOD OFF".
