Excelsior lakota refit aka ENTERPRISE B VERSION 2

I hate making readme\'s so you better read this or my time is being waisted!

This is not a mod for armada 2 but does contain models for armada 2!
there is no odf file, no wireframe, no build button and no instructions on how to install this,
if this is a problem for you...deal with it!!!!

VESION 2 CONTAINS NEW TEXTURES FOR THE MODEL, REWORKED NACELLES AND REWORKED BODY FRAME AND SECONDARY INPULSE DRIVES!


This zip file contains the excelsior with alpha channel!

There is only high res included!

If you wish to use this model in your own mod you can! there would be little point in me making it otherwise!

All the modeling credits go to captain fingers (err thats me)

The texture was not entirely by me and based off a cgi model by Eric Peterson but i altered the lights in max alot and spent some time in psp arsing around.
she has 1500 polys, higher than i expected since without the nacelles she is 900 polys! the new nacelles have a high poly count but i had a nightmare getting them looking good!

captain fingers, do u have a hardpoint map cuz i got no idea were the phasers shoot fromm and it looks kinda wierd that they all come from the root, i would check myself but AssimView doesn't let me load it

The model is great! out of all the excelsior models about this one is the best! but i have to say i personaly think it has the worst texture! its to plain and bold for me! maybe an update on it?

When in MapEditor or if the ship becomes derelict! there is no orange / blue smoke stuff coming out from the ship!

Very disappointing to see a well known and respected modder release this. Captain Fingers. Even you know better than to release something which is very hard for modders to use. The model is exceptional though and whilst the textures are a bit low quality perhaps you may re-consider releasing a hardpoint map or at least posting here with a list of hardpoints.
