Baleo class destroyer
The Baleo class was built in the late 2280's to serve as a destroyer alongside the Excelsior class. Although slow at warp, the Baleo is very maneuverable at impulse speed. The Baleo class is a fairly compact ship built as a replacement for the Larson class. Her greatest tactical advantages are the photon torpedo pod and two deflector dishes.
This ship is a kitbash of P81's Excelsior and Miranda class.
Installation:
-------------
Copy the file fbaleo.sod into the SOD folder
Copy the .tga files into the Textures > RGB folder
Copy the file fbaleo.odf into the ODF > ships folder
Copy the file fbaleo.bmp into the Bitmaps > Adrepairalslog folder
Open the file fyard2.odf or fyard.odf (whichever shipyard you want the ship
To be built from) and insert the line: buildItemXX = "fbaleo" under
build Parameters below the last ship to be build
XX being the next unused number
Save that file
Open "tech 1" from the Techtree folder and insert this line:
fbaleo.odf 1 fyard.odf // Baleo class
Save this file, open "fulltech.tt" and insert the following line
fbaleo.odf.odf 0
Then save and open "GUI_global.spr" from the sprites folder
Then add this line under federation build buttons:
b_fbaleo gbfbaleo 0 0 64 64
For the wire frame just add these lines into the gui global under wireframes

My only gripe is that the textures seem a bit stretched and over sized on those deflector pod things. particularly the top and top sides.
All in all though, the model is very believable. Great work!
