Another fantastic Cardassian vessel from Dan1025, as promised in the Dogs of War mod by K7A but never delivered.

Note that, once again, this one is designed from the outset as a replacement for a stock vessel, and as such, she'll require build buttons and wireframes from stock.

I think I actually like this one better than the Brinok released earlier today. No, who am I kidding-- I love 'em both!

A while ago K7A showed a new Gul Vystan model he'd made by kitbashing Zorgs Cardassian models, since K7A is no longer around and the chances of his version being released are slim, I've decided to recreate his work.

This will act as a replacement for your Gul Vystan Class (ccruise2). Because this is a replacement for a stock model I havn't included a new buildbutton or wireframe, however I have replaced the admirals log image.

Included in this mod are:

SOD file
Ship textures
Borg textures
Ship ODF
AdmiralsLog picture

Installation Instructions:

1. Place "ccruise2.sod" into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/SOD folder.
2. Place all files found in the RGB folder into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/Textures/RGB folder.
3. Place "ccruise2.odf" into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/odf/ships folder.
4. Place the "ccruise2.bmp" file found in the ShipImages folder into the Activision/Star Trek Armada II/bitmaps/AdmiralsLog/ShipImages folder.

(Ensuring you click "Yes" when the computer asks if you'd like to replace the older files).

This is even better than the Brinok! Of all the stock Cardie ships I like the Vystan least. Looks all spindly, like a party favor. This will be welcomed immediately into my personal install and not removed ever. 10/10! RockRock

Hehe, this ship is a lot of fun in multiplayer. It's special weapon is very useful in contrast to many useless ones. With its help a single Gul Vystan class is able to disable entire fleets of ships and even to destroy them near a black hole. This has caused some frustrating moments for me. :mad: ;-)


Anyway, awesome work on this ship! Rock 10/10
