Some people asked him to make this, so he did! There are three borg ships here, and updated cube,shpere and interceptor.

Well heres a small borg ship pack I put together.Basicaly I changed the cube a tad and now has a sod so it dosnt get messed up with cube sods from mods or what ever.
also has the sphere and interceptor texture to match the cube.

Installation: Unzip the file,and put battle texture in the armada 2 directory under texture/rpg.Then take the bbattle sod and put that in the SOD folder.And then put
the bcruise1,and intercptr files in the texture/rpg file.I believe you made need to delete the stock(old) bcruise texture and bintercptr_1,_2 ok and I tested this in a normal armada 2 game.Hope you like this and if you have a question just ask ok.Enjoy

The models are fine in armada2 just the stock textures look like hell, looks like armada 1 should have looked...they got the numbers wrong, armada2 is armada1 =)

These look amazing, a while back i downloaded the borg X-pack and thought they were the best textures, but now this is truely amazing. They look like those from voyager which is great.


I seriously recommend you make some more borg vessels, however I would say that you should steer clear from using these textures for every ship and station, since it would look a bit rubbish in my opinion. the funny thing is that i havnt even tried these out yet, im downloading them now. Hopefully i will remember to place a review for you. If these live up to my expectations, which i hope they do.

Well I tested these out and i thought they were really good. The textures look best on the Cube, since they are just like those from voyager. However in my opinion the sphere doesnt look quite right with these textures, but then again it is hard to do the sphere because of the rounding off.


The interceptor looks quite good also, however since the vessel is quite small by default it can be hard to spot the ship against darker backgrounds.


Even though these textures looks the same on every ship I rate each of them as follows:


10/10 for the Cube

8/10 for the Interceptor (due to reasons above)

7/10 for the sphere


But i still think these are amazing textures, also being a borg fan I feel that the textures need to be slightly different for each vessel, I know that they go well together but more variety is needed to make things more interesting.


Great work 9/10 in my opinion!

Thanks for your opinion,the sphere wasnt easy with the rounding of,and when i get a chance to to more ships I will make the ships look at least a little differnt between each other.

Your welcome. A long time ago I downloaded a Borg tactical cube that is the best out there. The ship sort of comes in two parts when its being created. First of all the hull is made like a standard cube, then after the armour is added. I've changed the lower texture to yours and it looks amazing, its a shame I cant remember where i got it from, as this could be the combination your looking for, if you want more borg vessels.


Id definatly like to see a new assimilator, I know that its based on a rougue vessel, but Darkdrone from BCFILES made one that is alot more Borg like, you should try and make a new one if possible.
