README for FEDERATION TRANSPORT BEAM by Hockeydude

This is just a simple mod that is a modified Borg hold beam
that the federation can use it. I also made it look a little different.

-INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

extract files to anywhere on your hard drive and simply place
the "fholdbm" and "gfholdbm" files in the odf/special weapons folder


-Open the gui_global in the Sprites folder and,

Add this line:

b_gfholdbm gbholdbm00 0 0 64 64

under:

# Special weapon buttons
@reference=64

@tmaterial=interface


-Open tech1.tt and add this line under "Federation Special Weapons"

gfholdbm.odf 0


-Open fulltech.tt and add this line under the last federation entry

gfholdbm.odf 0


-Open the odf file for the ship you want (I recommend a ship with a large crew) the hold beam
on and put this under //ART PARAMETERS & WEAPON NAMES and add this:

// fed transport beam
weaponX = "gfholdbm"
weaponHardpointsX = "hp01" "hp02" "hp03"

X being the location in the odf file compared to the other weapons (i.e. 1,2)
