After looking through the pics I'd taken for A2, I noticed out of 300 or so pics i had a whopping (5) Species 8472 pics. This mod is an attempt to rectify that. Included are re-textures of all the stock 8472 ships, stations, weapons, Special Weapons and even the Fluidic map background.

****Before you begin you should BACKUP or remove the files to be overwridden.****

****Some of these textures are BIG, in the 4k range, so if your machine can't handle it, you've been warned.****

1. To install simply copy the files into your Textures/RGB folder, overwrite when neccesary.

Also, these will replace stock textures but not all of them, it will require you to remove the _1 and _2 textures for species 8472.

2. Below is a list of the textures for you to backup and remove from your Textures/RGB folder.

(wow that took almost as long to write as it did to edit all these textures.)

This was installed on a clean install of Armada 2, how it works in various mods has not been determined as of it's release.
Though it shouldn't cause any problems, since it only overwrites existing stock textures.
