Jetfreak's Second Minimod
Nice and simple mod here that enhances the stock Akira textures AND adds a nicely fitting registry (I believe it to be a generic one, but it adds a nice touch nonetheless). Obviously, this won't affect multiplayer. The second part includes a moderately long list of some canon and some other made up ship names making it altogether, a nice little download. Description:

This simple mod includes a simple retexture for the Akira adding a few details and a (ahem) registry too
It also includes a text document with new ship names

Installation:
-------------
1) Just throw the fcruise1.tga in your TGA folder (but create backups of the stock ones first and remove the fcruise1_1 and fcruise1_2 TGA Files)
2) Additional info on the ship names can be found on the "Shipnames" text document
