Introduction
What follows is an overview of the High Guard fleet as it exists today. Included are basic, unclassified technical specifications for platforms, weapons and sensor systems as they are used across all 15 mission areas. Readers interested in more detailed information are directed to Höhne's Fighting Ships Encyclopaedia of The Local Group, which addresses High Guard and Home Guard assets on an individual basis as well as the known capabilities of Pyrian, Magog and other non-Commonwealth forces.

Fleet Organization

• Heavy Cruiser (XMC) - The bright star of the High Guard fleet
• Deep Stand-Off Attack Ship I - The "workhorse" of the High Guard combat fleet.
• Deep Stand-Off Attack Ship II - The "newest and most advanced" ship in the High Guard combat fleet.
• Long Range Surveillance Ship (LRS) - The eyes and ears for battle groups and large fleets.
• Group Defense Frigate (GDF) - Designed to track, target and destroy enemy missiles and fighters.
• Atmospheric Attack Carrier (AAC) - Coordinates High Guard movement during battles.
• Drop Ship Carrier (DSC) - Acts as a troop transport ship and barracks.
• High Endurance Research Cruiser (HRC) - The heart of the High Guard's intergalactic exploration efforts.
• Combat Support Ships - Small, specialized ships used in delicate missions or to support large cruisers.

• Oracle heavy sensor attack drone - Semi-sentient, autonomous spacecraft.
• Janus light sensor/attack drone - Light, quick and nimble craft.
• Odin atmospheric sensor/C2 drone - Very effective in surveillance and C2 applications.
• Ung Tae drop ship - A combination armored personnel carrier, hover-tank and skiff.
